    Currently, select reservation dates are only available to Resort Guests. Please link your resort reservation to view all dining options available during your stay. Dining reservations are available 30 days in advance. If you do not have an upcoming resort reservation and would like more information on non-Resort dining reservation availability please call (808)-674-6200.


    Makahiki Restaurant hosts Character Breakfast 4 days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Non-Character Breakfast is available on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

    Mickey Mouse and other Disney Friends will be there to say Aloha as Aunty or Uncle serenade your morning in song as you dine in Makahiki Restaurant for a delicious 3-course breakfast. Photo opportunities with Disney friends are available throughout the experience, and photo packages are available at an additional charge.

    Non-resort guests may dine at Makahiki Restaurant Mondays through Thursdays. Seating will be limited to Aulani Resort guests only on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays.

    Please ensure you visit Aulani’s Know Before You Go webpage and adhere to all requirements for visiting Aulani Resort. Reservations are highly recommended and non-resort guests may be required to provide an address and phone number upon arrival.

    No. Disney friends will help provide entertainment throughout the character breakfast experience, and photo opportunities will be available for each party.

    Makahiki Restaurant hosts Character Breakfast three days a week on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. Non-Character Breakfast is available on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Starting June 2, we will be adding Character Breakfast on Wednesdays.

    The Food & Beverage team is committed to offering a wide range of options to accommodate Guests with food allergies or intolerances. Please notify us of any food allergies and intolerances when booking your dining reservation. You're also welcome to speak with a chef or a manager-on-duty upon arrival at the restaurant.

    Sorry, but our chefs and other Cast Members may not prepare, cook, heat or reheat any food items brought in by Guests.

    Dress Code Guidelines

    Ensuring that this resort is family friendly is an important part of the Disney experience. In that spirit, we ask you to use your discretion and common sense.

    • Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times
    • If wearing a swimsuit, a cover-up is also required
    • Costumes may not be worn by Guests14 years of age or older
    • Attire that is not appropriate for Walt Disney Parks & Resort Guests includes, but is not limited to:
      • Clothing with objectionable material, including obscene language or graphics
      • Excessively torn clothing or loose fitting clothing which may drag on the ground and create a potential trip hazard
      • Clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment
      • Visible tattoos that could be considered inappropriate, such as those containing objectionable language or designs
      • Wedding attire including, but not limited to, white gowns, veils, tuxedos and other types of formal attire

    A guest may bring their own cake, however due to health and safety reasons, we cannot store guest's cake and it must remain at your table. Leftover cake must leave with the guest in the same box that it came in.
