Q:How do I make dining reservations at Aulani Resort?

A:Dining reservations can be booked 45 days in advance. For more information on dining availability, please call (808) 674-6200.

Please note: Makahiki – The Bounty of the Islands hosts a Character Breakfast daily.

Q:Is ‘AMA ‘AMA – Contemporary Island Cooking open for breakfast?

A:No, ‘AMA ‘AMA is not open for breakfast. It is only open for dinner, with a focus on a more intimate dining experience. Please note: ‘AMA ‘AMA is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Makahiki Restaurant hosts Character Breakfast daily. Please note: Makahiki also offers a 3-course prix fixe dinner.

Q:What is the Character breakfast experience?

A:Mickey Mouse and other Disney Friends will be there to say Aloha as Aunty or Uncle serenade your morning in song as you dine in Makahiki Restaurant for a delicious 3-course breakfast. Photo opportunities with Disney friends are available throughout the experience, and photo packages are available at an additional charge.

A:Makahiki Restaurant hosts Character Breakfast daily.

Q:Do the Resort restaurants offer meals for special dietary needs?

A:The Food & Beverage team is committed to offering a wide range of options to accommodate Guests with food allergies or intolerances. Please notify us of any food allergies and intolerances when booking your dining reservation. You're also welcome to speak with a chef or a manager-on-duty upon arrival at the restaurant.

Q:If I bring personal food items or groceries to a Resort restaurant, can a Disney chef prepare or heat my food?

A:Sorry, but our chefs and other Cast Members may not prepare, cook, heat or reheat any food items brought in by Guests.

However, if you have special dietary requests, we will work with you to try and meet your needs.

Q:What is the policy on alcoholic beverages?

A:The drinking age is 21 at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. Valid photo I.D. is required.

Q:Where can I dine with Disney Characters?

A:Aulani Resort offers “Makahiki Character Breakfast” a Disney Character Breakfast.

Q:My family is celebrating a special occasion. Can we bring a cake for our celebration?

A:No. Not at this time.
