    The Food & Beverage team is committed to offering a wide range of options to accommodate Guests with food allergies or intolerances. Please notify us of any food allergies and intolerances when booking your dining reservation. You're also welcome to speak with a chef or a manager-on-duty upon arrival at the restaurant.

    Sorry, but our chefs and other Cast Members may not prepare, cook, heat or reheat any food items brought in by Guests.

    However, if you have special dietary requests, we will work with you to try and meet your needs.

  • A:
    The drinking age is 21 at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. Valid photo I.D. is required.

  • A:

    Aulani Resort offers “Aunty's Breakfast Celebration at the Makahiki,” a Disney Character Breakfast.

  • A:
    Yes. You can commemorate special occasions with cakes and other celebratory gifts. Arrange for a cake to be delivered to your room or to a special dinner. Some specialty cakes may require at least 48 hours' advance notice.

    Most restaurants at Aulani feature a Resort Casual dress code policy. The following guidelines apply to most Table Service and Buffet Dining restaurants:

    Dress Code Guidelines

    Ensuring that this resort is family friendly is an important part of the Disney experience. In that spirit, we ask you to use your discretion and common sense.

    • Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times
    • If wearing a swimsuit, a cover-up is also required
    • Costumes may not be worn by Guests14 years of age or older
    • Masks may not be worn by Guests 14 years of age or older (unless they are for medical purposes)
    • Attire that is not appropriate for Walt Disney Parks & Resort Guests includes, but is not limited to:
      • Clothing with objectionable material, including obscene language or graphics
      • Excessively torn clothing or loose fitting clothing which may drag on the ground and create a potential trip hazard
      • Clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment
      • Visible tattoos that could be considered inappropriate, such as those containing objectionable language or designs
      • Wedding attire including, but not limited to, white gowns, vails, tuxedos and other types of formal attire

    You can purchase a Resort-refillable mug for $18.99 plus tax* at either Lava Shack or Kālepa's Store. Throughout your stay at Aulani Resort, enjoy refills of non-alcoholic beverages, available at the following refillable mug stations:
    • Ulu Cafe: Offering fountain beverages, coffee, tea and cocoa from 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM
    • Lava Shack: Offering fountain beverages from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
    • One Paddle Two Paddle: Offering fountain beverages from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

    Mugs feature a special Aulani design, so you'll have a great keepsake to enjoy even after your vacation.

    Reservations are accepted for breakfast, lunch and dinner at 'AMA'AMA and for Character Breakfasts and regular dinner buffets at Makahiki.

    Japanese-speaking Guests can make reservations by calling (808) 674-6200 or by booking online (for up to 10 Guests) through the English-language Aulani website.

    Please note: "Menehune Mischief" Character Dining at Makahiki can only be booked by telephone.

    If your plans change, we ask that you cancel or modify your dining reservation as a courtesy to fellow Guests.

    There are 3 ways to cancel or modify your reservation:
    • Find your reservation online.
    • Call (866) 44-DISNEY or (866) 443-4763. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or
      guardian permission to call.
    • Visit any restaurant podium at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.

    You should have received a confirmation number when making your reservation. Please reference that confirmation number when canceling or changing your reservation.

    If your plans change, we ask that you cancel or modify your dining reservation as a courtesy to fellow Guests.
