Heading out for some fun in the sun? Whether you're ready to play in the water or kick back on the shore, check out Makiki Joe's wide selection of beach essentials. Many items are complimentary for Aulani Resort Guests, while others are available for rental.
Makiki Joe's offers nearly everything you need to relax or play. Explore equipment options and rates (subject to change):
Sports and Play Equipment
- Boogie boards and life jackets: complimentary for Aulani Resort Guests
- Snorkel sets: $30 per day for Aulani Resort Guests, which includes one-day access to Guest-exclusive Rainbow Reef, a life vest and mask.
- Stand-up paddleboards: $50 per hour
Chairs, Loungers and Umbrellas
- Beach chairs and umbrellas: complimentary for Aulani Resort Guests
- Beachside casabella (2-seat lounger with awning): $85 per day (same-day reservations available on a first-come, first-served basis for use between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM)
Please note: Advance reservations are not available. All beach equipment must stay in lagoon area.
Location and Hours
Makiki Joe's is located on Ko Olina Beach, adjacent to the Waikolohe Valley pool area. Hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily—with the last rental at 4:00 PM.

Casabellas at ‘AMA‘AMA
Unwind in a beachfront, 2-seat lounger with awning, located on the lanai (veranda) of ‘AMA‘AMA restaurant.
